Josh,

I have four outside Swann security cameras set up. They have built in motion detection as well as infrared night vision. These are hard wired to a DVR which begins recording an event when motion has been detected within 85 feet of the camera.

It also sends a picture to my phone of what it is recording and I can also view all four cameras in real time from my phone or a computer.

I am going to add the Canary indoor camera which is pretty awesome and does many of the same things the Swann system does. Both systems are very affordable.Canary -->
