Had we just turned them back at the border, we wouldn't be separating families or incarcerating them or anything like that. The kids wouldn't be our problem, since they'd remain with their parents outside of our borders.
You do realize there is no "border" where these folks are picked up. They are already well within our border with Mexico.

How do you "turn them back" 30 miles inside the border?
