Does this sound familiar?

I pulled this from Nightwriter's hyperlink to Fortune's very informative series on "Who Really Moves the Market?" It describes the power of Wall Street analysts. You might want to go back and read through it.

When a company is choosing a firm to take it public, it is also choosing an analyst who will follow the stock once it is listed. It wants a respected analyst, one who will have credibility when he begins his coverage (as he must) with a "buy" recommendation.

"There's really not much point in picking up a small company if you don't have the prospect of getting banking business," says Edelstone--a statement that, for better or worse, accurately reflects how the Street works.

Enough said.

P.S. My guess is that $99 scanner for USB port is Digital Persona's.
