Very Interesting, Burt! I was just getting ready to post a message regarding a phone call I received this morning from a Nasdaq enforcement rep when I saw there was a message posted to the thread from you.
I too spoke for about 15 minutes with a rep from NASD. He did not however, ask me to keep our conversation to myself. He did say that he was interested in hearing form anyone who had "proof" of any wrong doings or manipulation-not just suspected hanky panky because of a personal interpretation of how the stock has been trading and how someone might personally feel about a one and a half point spread. Stock goes up slowly a good portion of the day and then drops like a lead balloon on 200 shares traded down two minutes before the bell, well, tough luck. Stock drops 2-1/2 points on 12,000 shares traded, well, tough luck. You don't like selling into or buying out of a point and a half spread, well, trade another stock. If you have suspicions like I have had (and openly admitted to) it would be better to save your breath. Don't waste your time or his. As far as he's concerned, the complaint I filed has been duly documented by the NASD and has been put to rest.
Bottom line. If you have something concrete and are willing to discuss it, he's interested. Give him a call or send him e-mail.
