Must of Been Some Fund Manager Unloading His Positon?

This is my guess of what happened. If traders then suspect or anticipate heavy selling, buying will dry up, forcing the selling party by virtue of his selling to drive the price ever lower as he continues to unwind his position and hit ever lower bids as they come onto the market.

Support turned out to be just above $30. I kinda suspected this, but got spooked out of putting in any purchase order because the stock just kept falling on no news. I've lost enough money in the past to learn not to try to be a hero.

The AQO (ave qualitative opinion) on Coherent is presently a very bullish 1.75. I believe this is a rise from where it was a week or two ago of 1.50. In case youre wondering, AQO is a weigthed consensus ranking of all the Wall St analysts who follow the stock.

In case you're interested check out Jabil Circuits, the 4th largest electronic contract manufacturer. The two biggest are SCI Systems and Solectron. Anyway, if you look at their chart Jabil has been showing clear signs of accumulation over the last two weeks. It presently sells at $17.50/share and a PE of 13. There's a thread on it. Of course please don't take my word for it. Check it out and draw your own conclusions. Good luck to you.
