Re -- AMD's book value is $14.40 per share ..

Look at the real book value (equipment has depreciated in value since 1994). Add to that the debt (Nus's senior debt notes, dresden, bank loans etc..). You will be lucky to get $2/sh. I was being generous at $4/sh.
