I didn't argue the Dow was off its low. What I said was that is a preposterous statement. Who cares? The peak of the Dow was tested three times and it failed all three times. I don't see how your statements about the Dow has any value other than stating the obvious.

OH and the SPX and Dow are up dramatically since DJT was elected. That's a fact.
The Dow is up because Trump can't do anything. He promised to put a 45% tariff on all Chinese good. Where's the tariff? If voting for a liar who lied to you is evidence of success then we're not living on the same planet.

The Dow is up 61.13% over the past five years which gives us an average of 12.226% per year. Since Trump has been elected the Dow is up 12.21%. Where is the "dramatically?" The numbers don't lie. The Dow is "average."

I always marvel at how republicans make things up and then believe what they make up. Never forget, Trump can't do what he wanted to do. The trade agreements still exist (TPP has a different name without the US). He said he'd get out of them on day one. He lied. The 45% tariff on everything from China didn't happen. He lied. He even said tax cuts wouldn't go to the rich. He lied. Anyone who fell for those lies and many more) is shallow and intellectually weak. I think we can agree on this last point.
