an, Novell looks like a great buy at these levels, not just for investors, but maybe for another company.
With $1 Billion in cash and a diminished stock price, Novell would provide an Internet/software company
with many cheap inroads into fast growing markets. Given that management has blown it so much in the past,
injecting a new compitent team with an ability to see the broad landscape of computer development, this
company could be a real asset. The question is who would buy it? Definitely not Microsoft. Maybe Sun, but it
seems they're more of a hardware company and have enough to focus on as is. Netscape? If Netscape could
buy out Novell with it's shares and not cash, it would be a real coup. They would sacrifice little and gain the
huge amount of revenue they need to help finance their escalating war with Microsoft. I've bought Novell
longer term options. Check out April's. Not too expensive give the longevity. Even without a buyout, I think
Novell's a great stock.
