All three are in this one speech and all three are lies. The Presidency Here's the worst part of it. Reagan later admitted he knew long before the election that he'd never be able to balance the budget so he spent nearly his entire presidency lying to the American people. He gave a speech admitting he lied around 1987. Regardless, today we're heading towards debt not seen since WW2 after republicans passed even more tax cuts. If there were ONE fiscal conservative in that party they'd have left it after the Reagan lies and debt. But they stayed on and watched Bush do it numerous times and now Trump doing the same thing. They can't pretend they didn't know. They knew and they didn't care.
