TopCat, here you go, a list of positives between Trump and Hillary:

Trump:

- Business mindset. Has a clue about how markets work.

- Outsider, which is a huge plus given how unpopular the "establishment" is.

- Gave some lip service to foreign disengagement. Libertarian music to my ears.

- Will confirm conservative Supreme Court justices. This year was a great year for Supreme Court cases.

- Turns the tactics of the left against them. (Could be a negative, though.)

- Proved that you can win elections even if your opponent outspends you.

Hillary:

- Would have been first female president. The symbolism is significant.

- Knows exactly how Washington politics works; in fact, a lot of the machinery is the creation of hers and her husband's.

- Economy was doing well under Obama. As I said before, I'll take a weak recovery over a recession. Why upset the status quo?

- Experience working with foreign governments. Yeah, she sucked as SoS, but the experience can still be an asset.

- Can carry out the duties of the presidency with dignity. Won't go on stupid Twitter rants. (I can't believe I have to mention that as a "quality.")

- AFAIK, she's a fine mother and grandmother. I don't hold her husband's dalliances against her. (Her treatment of his accusers, though ...)
