Stop before you make a fool of yourself. I have never seen IR selling anything. Their job is to promote the stock.

Excuse me ? Hold your horses.. Seems, you have become jaded enough to equate IR function with selling hype and hope to gullible investors..

First.. I am just quoting what the company said when they first mentioned that they were looking for a VP of Business Development or VP of Sales what ever you want to call it for Canada and USA and explicitly mentioned that he/she will also be required to present the company at investment conferences etc. and I consider that Investor Relations function.

Check any company's website where there is an IR tag or Investors tag.. Even where they have a deal with outside company to provide IR functions such as news releases etc. or anything else along that line, the company always have a management person who you can contact if you have any questions, responding to email etc. from investors.. Years ago, they had a full time person, Iwona if I recall the name, doing exactly that..

Now I understand, you are unhappy with CV for making a deal with the outfit who took a chunk of shares when last PP was done but then may be you better call CV to unload and not moi..
