. . .Decision Point is a veteran in the online business. First launching on AOL in July 1992, it has
become one of the most popular investor areas on AOL, welcoming approximately 100,000 visitors
generating over one million hits each month. "This level of popularity for material, that is normally
considered a bit esoteric for the average investor, reflects the effort we have made to give the
subject of technical analysis broad appeal and to make it accessible to those who might not
otherwise be exposed to it," said Carl Swenlin, founder and president of Decision Point.
"Technical analysis is a powerful tool that can be used in addition to fundamental analysis to assist in
investment decision-making and to optimize entry and exit points. Our materials can help both the
novice and experienced technician. We have been doing this online longer than almost anybody, and
I think we still do it better. We plan to maintain our AOL presence, but would like to extend our
reach to the other 80 or 90 percent of the online audience."

AOL is trying to play the middle man, in this case between this investment forum and the online populace. They got their start on AOL and the minute they become successful, out they go, directly to the web. I'd like to see the fee negotiations between AOL and Decision Point when it comes time to renew with AOL. AOL may very well end up paying them to stay. . .
