Note that anthracite, which is pretty pure carbon, also releases the most CO2. Metallurgical coal is anthracite, which is even purer carbon. Guess what that means?

On second thought, don't. You would probably get it wrong.

Suffice it to say there is even more carbon to release as CO2.
