For the record, the person who first told me about FTEL has kindly responded to my request for his identification. He is someone who saw my post on another board and wanted to share a company with others because he believes in it. I believe him.

Also, to elk who doesnt' like my asian commentary: I don't understand. In fact, if you think you can do better (maybe you can), I'd encourage you to post yours here. I'll be glad to add it to my website if its appropriate.

As for FTEL, it is interesting that someone just posted the info on the telecomminication regulations in europe. That reminds me of the AT&T litigation against FTEL for unjust enrichment. Unjust enrichment means that AT&T is arguing that if FTEL can't sell long distance and not have to pay for the infrastructure to provide it, as AT&T has. If FTEL gets the benefits of being a long distance telephone provider without paying for the infrastructure cost, like AT&T, then FTEL is unjustly making money.

This is new legal ground, if I'm not mistaken, that is being made. Does FTEL have the right to provide long-distance over AT&T's lines? That would cost AT&T, alledgely, a lot of money. Some, however, would say that the T1 lines, etc., are being leased out and that it is none of AT&T's business what information is being carried, even if voice.

I'm not sure what the rulings ultimately will be, but I imagine that the fight hasn't even really started yet. Can FTEL survive a big fight?

Even if liked the company, I'd have grave reservations because of that issue. Would anyone (elk) care to discuss that issue?

I'll be opening a library on FTEL soon. I'll be storing that european telecommunications article in it, for instance.

I may fly out to get a demo of this product, and also see if I can dig up some local information/opinions on the company and its managment.

Someone mentioned BB companies that go to the small-cap NASDAQ market without a major convertible offering, etc. I had a large position (for me) in QGLY last year. At that time they were a BB company, had demonstrated great sales and growth, and had cash in the bank, mainly from earnings. I bought it at about $ 8.00 and sold @ about $ 13.00. You can go to the SI QGLY boards about 6 months back and see many posts by me- or ask who I am there. Maybe someone will remember. Of course, FTEL doesn't have to do it the way QGLY did, but it is not such a lottery pick if they have the fundamentals that QGLY had.

FTEL: 5.94b 6.00a vol 100,200
