There is a rather thin paperback called "The Selfish Gene" written some years ago I think you might enjoy. The author proffers that it is the gene that is the real living force and that the body of animals, like humans, are just vehicles to proliferate genes. John
Galt, of course, through his power of reason, does not agree, however, the idea does make him chuckle. JOHN GALT LOVES EGOCENTRIC BUSTING IDEAS!
