I get that. I already recognized that Trump isn't interested in policies. Instead, he's interested in making deals. And he's trying to make deals by using whatever leverage he has.

The trouble is that I don't trust his ability to execute. We're not talking about some real estate deal of his. We're talking about the free market. Even Trump can't fathom all the nuances and the complexities of our global economy. No one can. That's why the market works best when it is free.

I'd love to be proven wrong, though. If I am, then I'll consider Trump to be a borderline genius.
