Mohan, The company News Thread is simply a depository for news Items that one feels are important to all members of the normal discussion thread. As an example the Ascend News-Only thread. Subject 16625 No discussions are allowed on the Ascend News-Only thread, and members voluntarily adhere to that rule. Placing an item (on the news-only thread) assures that the news will not be lost amongst the many items on the discussion thread. I personally felt that your news item rated a place on a news-only thread. My 3.3 cents worth ( approx. 2 pence, I should think.) Mardy
