Non smoker here just wanting to wish you the best on your endeavor.

It is a worthy goal and takes a lot of determination.

Me - I have a slight allergy to cigarettes (determined medically) - not life threatening - if I inhale smoke, I'm congested for a few hours to the rest of the day. I've learned breathing techniques to counter short exposures.

And I would agree that non-smokers know when a person has been smoking.

Heck, when I'm in an elevator that previously had a smoker in it, I know.

Again, I think it's wonderful that you are doing this.
