Yes we did use the more expensive lino as my kids are hard on things. The saltilo tiles were 1.28 sq ft. We also have some old hardwood flooring from an old house that we salvaged that we will use upstairs.
Are you getting the same storm we are, with the strong winds. They are warning us about floods here as we have huge ocean swell, lots of rain and a high tide. We just went down to the jetty to see the massive swells crashing over the jetty. Very exciting day on the coast. We aren't quite oceanfront however with a very high tide we could become ocean front.
