My biological father I didn't know well died from a stroke at 84. He never smoked, but did drink when he was younger. I'm almost 64.

My mother is now 80 and quit smoking about 50 years ago. Her older sister died a few weeks short of 80 from lung cancer after quiting cigarettes in her 60s.
