Regarding leaving your computer on all day, I think it depends on the individual's job. If you're a bank/credit union teller and you leave your workstation, it's important that the teller sign off. Another option is to have a biometric screen saver activated after 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc.

For small businesses, this may not be a problem, but in larger offices, all employees need to use extreme caution. A system requiring a finger image for supervisor authorizations would be best.
