Hawk, my comments on AMSC certainly don't reflect my investment in it. that first.
The settlement specifically, even in its brevity, indicates they are both going to submit applications to withdraw any further legal proceedings. I too find it hard to see how a Federal, post-conviction, sentencing can be avoided or affected, but this is not a normal situation. the delayed sentencing after judgement, then the postponement from June, had me wondering already, that force were afoot that shouldn't be.
I will not let myself spend any more of my hope or optimistic expectation on this, nor McGahn. not healthy, and i'll admit I slept like shit last night, out of sheer disbelief that after such a long time, being so close, AMSC would consider a resolution like this.
I have others to answer too, that I have been explaining the situation too. Without the market depth and diligence on this, this is how I explained it: Your daughter goes on a date. She is raped beaten badly. you spend 7 years trying the case, with broad support from your community and government, and secure a felony conviction. Then on the way to the courthouse to witness the justice, your daughter says it's OK, they made up. The guy paid her $50. Oh, and by the way....they're getting married.
That's what it feels like.
I can't get past the fact that McGahn is speaking in any conciliatory way with WenYuan Wei, or the corrupt coterie behind Sinovel. |
