I'm sorry to hear about the margin call. That's rough. I know SMTC very well, so I'd have to say that you made the right decision. Pricing pressures are not as harsh in SMTC's business as they may be for SMOD.

Here's a treatise on TA, specifically moving averages. I used SMTC as an example. It is on the verge of a technical breakout:
