i believe I know the good news that will be announced at conference call tomorrow. There is a rumor on the street that they will announce FDA approval for the new manufacturing plant. I also spent an hour with my Vivus rep today to glean what ever i could. basicly she knows little about the concerns of us investors. What she did confirm is that the old plant ran through the Thanksgiving Holidays and demand continues to be strong. IMHO this is to build inventory to allow for the shut down over Christmas. Assuming the rumor is correct the timing would be perfect. Based on the volume purchases today I think there might be something to it.
