"The Court found that AMSC’s losses from the theft exceeded $550 million, and imposed the maximum statutory fine in the amount of $1.5 million on Sinovel Wind Group LLC." AMSC knew or should have known the maximum fine was $1.5 million before agreeing to a settlement that doesn't even reach one-tenth of total damages. Looks to me like a clear breach of fiduciary duty by AMSC management. Art
