Trey, the .18 was the operating profit, but CNBC and others were not quoting that. They were giving the .66 which included extraordinary income from the sale of MUEI stock. There was discussion on this if you go back to posts of that period. I know I was really upset regarding how the earnings was reported. I posted that because databases indicated earnings as .66 instead of .18, that it mislead people studying the data. What's new. We are talking MU here. I bet you five bucks that the databases now indicate .18, so that this coming report will look better by comparing to the .18 instead of the .66. PS - The .18 was Q297 reported in Mar 97, not Q3, which was .44 reported in Jun 97. Patrick
