I find it amazing that so few people realize that when the A/D line and Value Line Geometric hit new all time highs, the odds of the Dow and S&P not following suit are extremely slim. Why anyone would want to trade in and out of this market like a bimbo is beyond me. This is the quintessential buy and hold market till further notice ( not indefinitely, of course. ) The fear over Trump's tariffs and potential trade wars reminds me of the fear over Y2K in 1999. And I think we all realize what took place in a short period of time back then.
