Well then I would have hold on till it met my near term price, and if it does not then I consider that as another batch of shares to my already existing shares for the so called long term investing and return! (which by the way I have come to truly question this so called long term investing! I think that in the so called long term we all be dead!)!

Anyway, but the important thing I have come to learn (and I am very very very amature at this) is to have a discipline of setting a target price (in my case between 5-10% of what I paid for, for the shares I intend to use for just trading) and then sell at that target price. I do not never sell a stock with a loss (regardless of how big of a drop that stock may have.). And since I never buy on margin I am not forced to sell (although the pain of seeing the paper loss is not fun either)!
