I think that is how most do because they are asleep during a large part of that sixteen hour period.

I agree with the "what works for some, doesn't for others." Part of the problem is many don't think anything is wrong until it's too late. So they continue to do the same thing they always have. When the problem gets so big they have to do something they don't know what to do or do something that doesn't work and just gives up. Many would never think or consider IF as a solution. I still get crazy looks when I tell people what I do.
