I was pretty happy with the extra money in my wallet. :--)

When I quit about 21 years ago, cigarettes were about $10 for a pack of 25. I smoked a pack a day, and sometimes more. I have no idea what cigarettes cost now, but over 21 years, at $10/day, that comes to $76,650.00 that stayed in my pockets:-)

I forgot to add that having not smoked for 21 years now, other than age related aches and pains we all suffer, I am generally active with regular exercise, healthy and happy, and that is priceless. There are many many benefits to quitting smoking that can't be counted.
