Usually I would not touch a stock with higher volume and price change but no news, there may be some rumur, but too risky. Those who bought GERN yesterday at below $12 may have a nice profit today but what if the rumur is not true. Trade a stock when the news already out, then you have small chance to catch another unfavorable news - like GERN, I don't think it will have another news, very small chance.
