| | | I try not to abuse the terms like “traitor” and “treason”.
But what Obama and Kerry did WRT to Iran was unconscionable. Abandonment of Israel was the same. A lot of his other mistakes were out of ignorance or cultural. The blunder of the pricipitous withdrawal from Iraq was a mistake just as you would argue Bush going there was.
What Trump is doing today gives the appearance of being thoughtful use of presidential prerogatives, but importantant, not mistakes. I see terrific judgment in most of what he has done although, he made some amateurish mistakes at first as most presidents do.
Trump is half done with his first term and his list of accomplishments is, I would say, unmatched by any president in our lifetimes. Forgetting the legacy items like appointments, the huge foreign policy successes, fixing Obama's Executive Orders, tax changes and resultant economic surge, health care changes, and other stuff are astounding.
Before his first term is over I expect he will make headway with immigration and serious health care reform. If not, it will only be due to obstruction.
Regardless, Trump has made positive changes in innumerable areas while getting rid of countless Obama blunders.
Being honest, can you recall a president having undertaken and achieved anything approaching the number of major policy items Trump has? I know you don’t agree with most of them, but the man is just a workhorse in my view.
In due time I am certain you will be a very big fan! |
