Cheeky Kid,

Your predictions for future Internet use and commerce are quite plausible. Some are already available, although not widely used.

I'm particularly delighted with online reference and research material. I like logging on and reading my hometown and other newspapers. Most of the mainstream medical journals have found their way to the online community. I actually prefer the online journals and newspapers to the print versions for lots of reasons, with probably the biggest reason being that they are archived and searchable for further study. Also, if I see something I want to "clip and save," I can save it to disk and skip the scissors and paper scraps and filing.

I think it will not be too much longer before we are able to download movies, TV shows, and sporting events on demand, perhaps rendering the VCR obsolete.

I believe the current figures state that only 30% of the population has found its way to the Internet. What do you think about a business that would target the other 70% and help them make the Internet connection, bearing in mind that some of these folks will be computer phobic?
