Coincidentally, my company sent me a new Lenovo laptop today that I didn't even ask for. There is a lot of cash floating around in company coffers and PCs and laptops are being upgraded. My secretary and lead coworker are both getting new computers next week that I didn't ask for either. We upgraded the company's servers about six months ago to implement new software we are using to run our manufacturing company. The new software is highly reliant on central servers providing an interconnected network between manufacturing, sales, engineering, and accounting. It's about a $20 million project. I suspect a lot of other companies are doing the same sort of upgrades. UWG
