Look, there are plenty of people who think it's just talk and/or they can handle Trump. But Trump cannot be handled and the last group who thought that is no longer working in the Whitehouse. What is the Pentagon going to do when they get a direct order from the president? An armed take over of the WH? A mass resignation? Barricade themselves in and wait for armed invasion? At the end of the day Trump is the president and they are subject to his commands. And no matter how they want to spin it, their counterparts will not find it reassuring. All they will achieve is conveying a sense of disloyalty. And that is not a good thing.
