cRocky calling it vaperware. :-))<<

As the proud owner of a brand new N64 that my girlfriend gave me for Christmas, I can safely say that the 64DD is vaporware at this point. It was first supposed to be delivered this past Christmas, then this summer. Now it looks like it is delayed until next Christmas. Some Nintendo newsgroups have been lively forums for discussion of this drive. Some had suggested it would be a team--up with Iomega to modify a Zip. However, the Nintendo drive has nothing to do with Iomega. Early reports are that the Nintendo is only 64 MB (major bummer), but is much faster than the anemic Zip. Whether games will be delivered on this disc, or they will still be manufactured using cartridges, remains to be seen.
