Energetics, Security: Now you know why Broadcom is buying CA - more OS support needed for new designs.
AWS is building new ASICS for superior energetics and security.
Expect a rapid development timeline.
China is anxious for the new product.

That fragile flower called T-R-U-S-T has been violated
It took a few weeks for the Security fallout from the x86 world.
And it is hitting the server OS world hard.
Now you see it.

On Seeking Alpha for years I was reporting what I was reading Chinese language news.
One of the threads of intelligence I could learn and develop for posting was the enormous problem with energetics plaguing the entire Chinese nation - including some under reported problem in output at the Three Gorges dam facility that was suggestive of turbine failures.

A perfect storm of events has now pushed to a tipping point the Market for server and switches APs.
The need for customized ASICS has just gone into existential overdrive.

This moment is the singularity I have been expecting and it is going to flood through the entire IC industry as a new generation of CPUs APs SoCs and SiPs is called for in new designs. Expect new OSes to rise and MSoft to go into 'survival mode'.

You have seen Secure Executable Zones violated in current ICs - the response is to add new scanning MCUs to IC designs.

Big Box companies are in a new 'Death Match' race to survival - they know the tipping point has arrived.

This aids China directly as price competition for a dying generation of processors increases and is their own designs get renewed push. But it also benefits the whole world with increased energy efficiency and total lower costs.

In case you haven't noticed the FD-SOI developments, I suggest you brush up.

AWS kicked the can loudly, but the pieces have been dripping out for years.

Isn't it interesting that Friday the 13th is the day everyone heard about it?
And isn't it fortunate that INTC stepped into the ASIC design world?
