Sorry but you are trying to put lipstick on a pig.

We must control who enters this country. Control at authorized entry points is working. We have pretty good control of the long coastline and the skies. However the southern land border is a sieve unfortunately.

Let's not fog this issue by talking about respect for immigrants and linking it to the control of our borders and handling of illegal border crossers .
