OFF TOPIC >>>>It behooves me that a country like the US - another great country, does not have a medical plan for its citizens. Canada does - and it operates at about 35% less per capita than yours does - with equal to, or better outcome measurements. >>>

Mark, I have never lived in Canada but allow me to take issues
with your statements. I come back to medicine shortly. First,
you do indeed better off in Canada if you are poor or simply happy. I do not think that you can start Microsoft or even act on your ambitions and God given potential unless indeed you cross the border. That goes for Canada and any other country on Earth.

Medicine. Well, lets just start with Europe, say France, excellent
medicine, good outcomes. The reason for France, not Canada, fairly significant number of immigrants, poor, very poor and crime/HIV/trauma albeit not as bad as USA but...still close to apple with cranapple
but not Orange like Canada (of course again they drink red wine, but lets discount this benefit). Free medicine is a propagated illusion
it does not exist. Taxes, gasoline, regulations, waiting for procedures and services for a long time, inability to afford much, certainly not a house all well-known facts. Any goods/food cost more, considerably more when prorated to hour of work standard. income/expense including medicine.
Analogy- If someone boosts that he has great health benefits-terrific insurance for free that means he is underpaid that exact amount..
Canadian is underpaid and overtaxed more than insurance costs to pay for other.. Quality-not even close if you want new hip or glaucoma operation, chances are you are on waiting list for a long time or had it done in USA. And not so well to do people are taken care in USA medical system much better than in any other developed country (they
just others not have as many) Canadian system would have been overwhelmed and in no way able to deal with magnitude of the problem
that USA faces every day and does a magnificient job in handling it
Outcomes- comparable when apples are compared with apples
e.g. White Population of USA (affluent/less crime/ and so on)
