re YY - ok YY is not the YouTube of China in terms of market lead, it looks more like a streaming platform with social media and ecommerce aspects. This is something that YouTube does as well, but there are specialized platforms like Twitch (mostly gaming) and Mobcrush. Note that some of the quota answers are from 2015 and YY has been increasing their revenues by 50% YoY since then still. Then there the stock ownership in Huya.
