Syria killed a few kids?! What are you talking about? I do not like to defend Netanyahu's approach to dealing with Hamas. That said, if Hamas would do to any other mideast government what they do to Israel, there would be many more people dead. Look at the civil wars in Turkey, Syria, Yemen and Iraq. All have between 10s of thousands and millions of people dead and wounded along with devastating destruction of property and families. The tactics that Israel uses is far different. Israel faces a group that is determined to exterminate it. I can pretty much guarantee that most governments in the world would be far more destructive toward this sort of enemy on their border.
