Thanks for the referral to this young lady's analysis, which I read. along with about ten more of her archived columns, all interesting reading.
Apparently I have not made a very compelling nor persuasive case for Rainforest Cafe. No wonder, as it was never my intention to hawk or sell my stocks in this forum. Nevertheless, at 17 and change, it is an outstanding speculation, or value, with no debt, $7.00 a share in cash, a two million share buyback program, growing income and earnings at 30-40%, a PE in the low teens and at the threshold of it's multi-year expansion campaign. Plus, as shareholder you get a coupon to go to the front of the two hour waiting line at most of it's locations.
It's too bad RAIN has been cut in half this past month as I would have preferred to boast and gloat, rather then sigh in disgust, but such is the nature of this business.
Perhaps some day I'll tell you my case for Geron.
