Apparently it is to FUBHO?

In any case, to answer your question, setting a stop loss seldom works when a stock falls that quickly. I was away from the TV when trading started after the announcement, so I didn't see how quick the NFLX tumble was, but it's usually within a few seconds on a miss that big. Considering all the stop loss orders that must have been out there given the huge run up in the stock this year, it's doubtful yours would have been triggered before getting close to the bottom.

My advice is to wait for the dust to clear, NFLX will be in a consolidation period for awhile, so average down on the stock and buy more when the price is lower if you still believe in it.

Also, you don't really lose the money unless you sell –– it's all paper losses until then.
