As far as your success in the market may I offer this;

So we'll know them by their limping.

So, like don't pick a broker who limps?

I think, I would offer this-less poetic perhaps but more practical.

When you are sure the market is going to the moon and everyone else is SURE of it and you feel like borrowing to the hilt just to to BUY BUY BUY. Then sell!!!!!
And, when you feel it's all going to hell in a handbasket and you wish that you never heard of the market and want to get out and everyone agrrees- it's time to BUY!!!

The moon theory is looking good so far.
