The DNC has still not asked the most basic questions since the election of Donald Trump: How did Donald Trump win the election? What do the Dems need to do to win back the House and Senate? The consensus Dem opinion is that Trump will self-destruct and Dems need to do nothing. My view all along has been that unless a true alternative to Trump's policies are presented to the American public, the Republicans will strengthen their majorities in the House and Senate and Donald will win in 2020 by one of the greatest landslides in American History. And I see nothing to change my assessment: Trump is improving in the polls and the Dems support the vast majority of his policies, including tariffs, military build up, etc. Outside of the lone voice of Bernie Sanders and a few progressive Dems here and there, it is absolutely incredible to me how Schumer and company have presented squat to the American Public in terms of substantial policy differentials from Donald. I think this spells big time massive defeat for the Dems moving forward.
