Hi all,

I was attempting some analysis on QCOM and got stuck with some figures..may be some one can help me out..

I was trying to estimate the revenue and profit stream form QCOM's phone sales.

Now we know that Q.P.E. has had a capacity of 500 thousand phones per month for the last quater. I was going to assume an average selling price of the phones to be $300 (conservative since Q phones go for much more)....

Thus, I came up with 98 phone revenue (ultra conservative given that the capacity might be increased too) of
6M*300 = $1.8 Billion
This is were I get stuck... Does QCOM realize all of this revenue
and just share 49% of the profits with Sony or do they both share the revenue too?

Also, does any body have the profit margins on the phones...this would save me some amount of digging...

Thanks

-Raj
