JRH, CSCO is a great stock to own. I wish I had purchased it years ago, but right now now I agree with Style Pts in that this one is bloated and has a lot less upside in the short-term than ASND. Don't believe all of the hype about ASND losing marketshare to CSCO, 3COM, or BAY. ASND is definitely holding its own particularly with CSCC adding to the mix. The bonus with ASND is that there are some real hunger suitors out there who WILL pounce on this stock if they can get a clearer future on Ascend's earnings future. Don't buy this stock on takeover rumor, buy it because it WILL kick butt in 1998!!!!! IMHO! Cheers, Steve
