Good point David. The question was whether the existence of a competing standard is having an effect on CUBE's bottom line. If consumers are hesitant to buy because of the competing standard, then yes, it does have some effect. As far as whether CUBE's chips can be used in both DVD and Divx players, it should not have an effect, as the chips can be used for both. But you gotta sell the players so you can sell the chips.
