Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: The U.S. Commerce Department will hold a hearing today that will influence the government’s decision about whether to proceed with import tariffs on automobiles and auto parts. It’s a scenario that’s spreading fear across Canada about spillover that could cost the country massive job losses and even tip the economy into recession.
