I used to hack Mac computer games and software. It was pretty simple really. Just decompile the game, put JMP assembly in to a later point in the program, until you've bypassed the password entry, then recompile. Often, it worked on my first attempt. If not, it didn't take many tries.

They got to where they stored the password and checked for it later. Also, easily bypassed. My buds and I would reserve a room at the public library, bring our Macs and do this as a team sport.
